This painting is of an overlooking the 8th hole of the beautiful Highlands Links Golf Course in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada. Highlands Links Golf Course is ranked among the top 100 golf courses in the world. One hundred limited edition prints were released in September, 2001. Half of the edition, fifty prints, were sold within the first month and now hang in offices and homes throughout the world.

“Jim Charles Loop”

Every summer, we spend time camping in Kejimkujik National Park. Located in Southwestern Nova Scotia, it is one of the most beautiful canoe, wilderness, hiking parks in Canada. The park is a haven, not only for hikers and canoeists, but also for an abundance of wildlife. It was also a traditional winter home area for the Micmac Native People, the original inhabitants of this province. This is a painting of the view from our tent on Jim Charles Loop, a favorite tenting area. We frequently see deer crossing to get to the lake which is located not far from our campsite. If you look closely, you will see a young doe on
the upper left corner wondering if it is safe to make a scoot across to the lake. No problem with us!
